Sparrowhawk, cropped image, so much for the forecast light winds, quite blowy hence camera shake.

Convolvulus Hawkmoth, found at work last night, ( Grimsby Pyewipe ), taken in poor artificial light which does not do the moth justice, unfortunately not in pristine condition but can't beg and choose when it's a lifer.

.

Fen Wainscot, book states July-August so a late one, taken in poor light, the moth was much paler than the pic shows, camera falsely highlighting streaking which was not apparent to the naked eye, hence the likeness to Common Wainscot.

A few hand held shots of a Sparrowhawk that chased young Swallows into a warehouse at work on sunday, it eventually found the way out after a few hours.

Just about to go home after not seeing much all morning when a Pectoral Sandpiper dropped into the middle of the fitties pools calling constantly, it was highly elusive in the marsh, it flew off a couple of times but returned, it eventually flew off again midday and not seen since.
